SHIN is groundbreaking Yosakoi dance troupe in Tokyo.
Yosakoi Dance, originated in Kochi (southwest Japan), has been firmly established as a new national dance culture throughout of Japan.
SHIN has made it’s debut at 2010. It's music, costumes, stage effects and choreograph are incomparable, even in the free-style Yosakoi festival. Every intricate detail is based on Japanese traditon and spirit. In 2013, SHIN has got a Grand Prize at SUPER YOSAKOI in Harajuku for the first non-Kochi based team ever.
Approximately 120 dancers join the team to make it fun for the audience and themselves. In an effort to combine modern skills with traditional performance harmony, SHIN hopes to share the graceful Japanese culture worldwide and to stimulate cultural exchanges.

Nobuyuki Nakamura who directed all of SHIN, plays an active part of entertainment world of Tokyo. Movies, TV shows, dance studios and stages.
His modernized, traditional choreography has earned him the grand prize at the original Yosakoi Festival in Kochi for many times.
Recent years, he has been sent to other regions of the world as a representative of Japanese dance culture. He is especially honored to have performed for the Dalai Lama in 2010.
